2MC counts money!
Every time in Math Rotations, 2MC counts money. The teacher writes an amount on a little white board and we have to use the least amount of coins to make that exact amount. It is really really hard. Sometimes she gives us really tricky ones like $5.82 and we don't get to use half dollars. Ms. Crowley's trick is to always start the coin or dollar that is worth the most. It really helps us doing money. I love working with money. By: Swan

I have to say--when they bring the sheets home--I have to do a double-take myself! The $.50 piece threw me off! Not sure how much help I am sometimes!! Thank goodness for Miss C!! ~Hamster's Mom
ReplyDeleteThat's my girl!! Have to say, watching Swan do all the worksheets this week was encouraging. She's getting really good at counting money (almost as good, her daddy says, as spending it!!)
